Hey guys,
Consider me flogged :) Food for thought, it has been.
I agree about the 1|2 thing. Probably should put something more to the
tune of "continued" or "more" perhaps. Or maybe everything on one page.
Someone pointed out to me that I have a nasty habit of writing in the
passive voice. Someone else also mentioned that my value proposition
wasn't immediately apparent, clear, or forceful enough.
I just call RCMP officers Mounties :)
Client links ... d'oh! Right you are Brent. Visual appeal ... between
time pressure and the fact that we're supposed to strictly nerds, I
wasn't sure if I should make the first page (or the site) graphically
splashy.
Peter mentioned that the site should be more permanent in appearance.
I'd have to disagree with his assertion. I'm only going to be there for
a limited time, and I have only one purpose during the business portion
of my visit. I do agree that there should be some sort of demonstration
of our tech skills like an automated book-an-appointment application.
I'll try to swing this on the mini-site for my next business development
trip.
Anyway, thanks for the great critique. I really appreciated it.
Julian
