Ok, time to nip this one in the bud. Instead of all the
discussion on what we should or should not help others with, how
about starting with references where to get the info needed? 

Such as 

http://rs.internic.net/help/domain/new-domain-reg.html will walk
you through the entire domain registration procedure.

When someone refers to their own question as "stupid" they are
helped without question. When someone new comes on board, they
are ridiculed for their ignorance. I know - I joined this group
as an ignoramous and was verbally whipped and beaten for it
(knuckles healed nicely though). Now I take it in stride as the
"status quo" and more of an "orientation" of sorts. No big deal.
Let's get on with life.
