while i certainly concur w/the idea of sharing -- i must admit that my
first reaction was the same as the author of graph two above. plus - how
could anyone have followed Net News for the past month and NOT known about
InterNIC??
perhaps my attitude is jaded because there are so many "web 101" questions
on the webgrrls list ... but there are BOOKS and WEBSITES that deal w/lots
of really basic stuff.
there was a great post to webgrrls last week -- a woman who had been
creating pages in FrontPage but who wanted to know more about HTML. her
question? Which of the many sites do you *recommend* -- much better than
"how do I learn html", donja think?
re the above question -- i guess the other thing that made me shrug was the
reference to a web site <?> as a "web page" -- I read the question, thought
very very new person, no time for this -- and figured someone else would
answer. Barry did (he is Such a Gentleman!).
