i just happened to be rotating the CDs in my briefcase, and as is my
tendency in such situations, started idly calculating the volume of data
storage it represented [1]. counting both CDs and Zip disks, the bugger
can comfortably haul 2.1 terabytes of information from place to place.

just another variant on the old networking axiom:

"never underestimate the bandwidth of a station wagon full of tapes."

[1] - which, come to think of it, is probably a handy reference point for
anyone trying to define the term 'hopelessly geekish'.

mike stone <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 'net geek..
been there, done that, have network, will travel.
