Linda, thanks for your comments. I have received several human-generated
emails (I think :) in response to my earlier complaints, but nothing yet
about the double-charging.

I didn't find a phone number on their site, do you have it? Am I just
missing it?

So it sounds like, despite your problems with ZDU, that you're still
involved with it. I'm sure not going to pay a year in advance for their
"services", but I am going to try and persist and take the perl course I
want to take. I think this is _the_ way to further my professional
education, and if they can work the bugs out it will be great. Whether they
can make it a positive experience or not remains to be seen. I do find it
amusing that your online class discussions include discussion about the
problems ZDU is having :>)  They have to realize that if they don't get
their act together, bad word of mouth will kill them. Since their audience
is only online, bad vibes will spread at light speed, and there isn't a
damn thing they can do about it.
