Shawn, As far as I can tell, the genunix wiki is not just some rogue wiki that a community member set up.

Its hosted on Genunix.org which uses rack-space and bandwidth graciously provided by ISC, and is a part of the OpenSolaris Documentation Community effort." So, based on future changes to the opensolaris.org site, I think it would be totally appropriate for the OpenSolaris Community Advisory Board and the OpenSolaris Documentaiton Community to reassess the need for the genunix site and decide whether it makes more sense to combine efforts to help focus and align the documentation community.
