That doesn't really matter for the purpose of this discussion. If the maintainers / users of the genunix wiki want to use opensolaris.org's instead, that is their decision. > >From the "About This Wiki" on the main page: > > "The Genunix Wiki was opened on Feb 10th, 2006 at the > request of the OpenSolaris Community Advisory Board. > Its hosted on Genunix.org which uses rack-space and > bandwidth graciously provided by ISC, and is a part of > the OpenSolaris Documentation Community effort." > > So, based on future changes to the opensolaris.org site, I > think it would be totally appropriate for > the OpenSolaris Community Advisory Board > and the OpenSolaris Documentaiton Community > to reassess the need for the genunix site and decide > whether it makes more sense to combine efforts > to help focus and align the documentation community. It isn't up to them to reassess the need. While they may have asked for it, it is up to the community members that maintain and use genunix as to whether or not to do something with it. I think you've inferred entirely too much meaning from the about page. -- Shawn Walker _______________________________________________ website-discuss mailing list [email protected]
