hi warren,

a caching implementation was added in an attempt do deal with some of the 
wu problems with partial packets, especially with rapidfire.  we decided 
*not* to do a generic caching mechanism, since that introduces more 
problems than it solves, and runs against the weewx philosophy of "never 
fabricate data".

the wu rapidfire caching was implemented about a year ago, with fixes 
applied about 10 months ago.

what problem are you seeing?
