Looks like we have a winner here.  The vet is almost certain it's a 
tapeworm, either from fleas or from the cat munching on a carcass.  A 
bit gross, but at least it's 100% curable.  Thanks to everyone for your 
concern.

Hey did anyone read John Kelly's column today?  What kind of dipshit 
starts pushing someone else's shopping cart around?
