As i've pointed out some of the bugs are IMHO inherent in the idea.
I don't really see why we should send out this out to get feedback.
The people who would do the art or code have already seen this.
No one (apparently) want to do the art or code to un-break this.

Can someone please put things back the way they were,
or explain how they are going to make everything work?

Like I said before I'd like to see it in 1.3.2 to get feedback on the
issue. If we want to keep it, it will cost quite some development effort
and art effort. Not sure whether there are volunteers for both parts.

I don't care too much about the issue so if somebody wants the change
reverted, feel free to do so.
