Hi. In a grant discussing for funding this year's WLM competition in Pakistan, a member of the Grant Advisory Committee (GAC) brought up an idea I thought worth thinking about: offering one or two prizes, alongside the major top photo prizes, to those submitting good photos as well as creating/expanding Wikipedia articles about those objects.

I'm not strongly claiming it should definitely be done, nor that it would be a good fit everywhere if it were done. I'm just interested in floating the notion and hearing your thoughts.
