Can we confirm when they knew about it? Pragmatic could simply be that these things take time. However there is another consideration. Since Amazon have stuff hosted in the UK they would have to be ordered to take down the images. The IWF can only do that if they are prepared to state that the images are actually illegal rather than potentially illegal.
