but this is indeed what some waiters & waitresses do, swipe the card in a pocket reader then sell the info.
I got a call from Discover Card a few years ago asking if I really had
meant to make a $6000 transfer to someone else's account. I hadn't,
and DC made good on it. But it must have happened like Wayne suggested.
