I put phil and the kids on autoupdate long
before. It's easier than checking each machine regularly.
If you ask me they should be responsible for their own AV updates as
security is as much a state of mind as it is anything. Right, Bernie ? ;-)
That's one way of looking at it. But I think of autoupdate like driving
a car with automatic transmission instead of manual. It lets you
concentrate on the task of driving instead of thinking about whether
you're in the right gear and having to make manual gear shifts.
