Hi,

In the new machine, it's an ATI Radeon 9250-based 128MB card. Does the video board also influence processing, then?

Regards,

Hi,

Processor speed is the key for converting AVIs to MPGs (in my case, with my
Pinnacle Studio app). With my old PC (just retired), it was 3
minutes/minute; now it's 1:1! Then I can work on the mpg to edit it. 30
minutes cassette gives about 7+GB avi (4MB/sec capture), but only about 30MB
in mpg.

Which video card?
