Jim, Thanks for trying to help.

Tried both suggestions. I changed IE internet options>programs to
Outlook>REbooted> tried again>NO good>changed back to OE>rebooted>Still the
same. It IS checked to have OE ask if default browser, etc. Mail & ng's work
fine. It's when I right click a file to send to email recipient that Mozilla
is selected for the task. I don't know how to edit that.

If I compose an email in OE and attach the file, all is OK. It's the "mail
recipient" that I need to change.

Try changing that - pick anything, then change it back
Alternatively try starting OE and see if it complains that it isn't your
default email program

Sorry, I should have mentioned that before. OE. Which is why I can't
understand why it is not being used as the default???
