if the account statement's list of services doesn't include "Natl Enhanced
Svc Access" you can't get the internet regardless of the phone... if that is
listed on the bill and you can get a data cable, then you can use the
interent.
Until about a year ago you needed to request it, unless you had a phone that
needed a feature that used it, then it was enabled automatically. Now it's
enabled by default on all phones AFAIK. (Unless the policy changed again.)
It was enabled on my phone but not on hubbys - i had to play musical CSRs
until i found one that would enable it on his phone because it didn't have
features that needed it. It was enabled on daughters phone 6 mon later (new
contract) and hers doesn't have features that need it. (When i still used
cables, my calbe worked with his phone and mine - so i could use one phone
wile i chanrged the other. :) )
