When I opened the message, I found that Wayne Johnson had written:

I have a chance of being "grandfathered" anyway, it they start charging
me. At least that's the way I see it.
Changing plans/phones may give them an "out", but the fact that they
"knew" what my goal was, gives me an "out".
Also, I was told by Data Tech Support (and I have a name, if that means
anything) that the same would apply to most of the new phones. The
clincher, if you please, was IXRTT. He wasn't sure about much of
anything until I told him how I was connecting. When I mentioned that,
a light seemed to go off in his noggin and he was all clear (as mud??) on
the issue.
We'll see how it plays out.
