Thanks a bunch, Carl! I did all that "PLUS" put the current version of
FREE AVG on the laptop and it caught and whipped eleven problems
from Trojan Mules of Hijacking gorillas <smile>. The minute that was
don't my computer started acting normally (except, still can't access
Microsoft.Com).
Now what's weird is this::::::::
I can access any microsoft site where the URL contains anything
BEFORE microsoft.com......like updates.microsoft.com. But unless it
has a "first name", it won't work. Guess I just have to know MS on a
"first name" basis, eh <smile>.
That should be a pointer, but it doesn't help me.
Thanks to EVERYONE who helped......especially Wayne for staying out
of the fray <smile>.
