As stated on another list just have defective memory [PC400 vs PC100
& it's not my fault that the 400 needs a dual channel board that
converts it equal to PC800] or video controller [AGP vs PCI-e] that
would require one to need a replacement mombo then one has to have a
new cpu to go along with it. Heck one could easily have a defective
serial port & so what if the new mombo doesn't even have a serial
port as it's not your fault that serial ports have been replaced by USB.
