As one of your original selections, I am assuming you told it to do the
long check, (they call it something else, but my name for it is very
descriptive).
I don't really sit around and wait for stuff like that to finish.
There is always some sort of text display or status bar line you can read to
see the progress it is making. Are you getting one of those?
Is it giving you lots (hunderds or thousands) of specific "locations" it is
saying
it is checking? (That is generally not good, even if it passes them all...)
I check back once in awhile, and try to "project" the finish time myself
based of what it says it has finished to that point.
Do you see anything? Or is it sitting stone cold dead like it was frozen or
something?
