Running INCD can cause weird problems
it could be that it is formatting the RW media as a low priority background
task -
and than can take 30 minutes or more

Have you recently updated Nero,
if so that may be the cause
if not that may be the solution

and sometimes a simple reboot will get past similar problems
My system stopped recognising written cd's, within windows explorer -
no idea why because after a reboot it was working
