Or just changing from the default firmware on your router. If you have a 
linksys wifi router like the WRT54GS, you could use something like my fave 
DD-WRT which has logging capabilities, it can log to ram or to an external 
Unix syslog server, or like Kiwi Syslog Daemon (runs on windows), amongst 
many others
