Yea, it's like borrowing a cup of sugar with asking first. ;-)
It could have been inadvertent. Before I implemented MAC
filtering, I noticed that when I looked at my router's DHCP
server log that it handed out LAN IPs to machine names
that I recognized as belonging to my neighbors.
I know these neighbors have their own DSL service.
