It is the other way: right now I right-click them to my desktop and open
them from there, and the csv's just keep piling up. If IE would
automatically spawn the spreadsheet app, IE would store the sheet in some
hidden/temp place I don't have to care about [and won't have to see
them]. As a practical matter it is easy to cope with this: I right-
click/saveas and I didn't before but after the 40th [EMAIL PROTECTED]@#$% csv
download
I figured out that I can save the things to a directory on my desktop
that as the nice features: 1) it doesn't clutter my desktop, and 2) when
I'm done with this @[EMAIL PROTECTED]@#$% CGI program I can just nuke the
directory
and they'll all just go away.

But I've actually had the problem before... can't remember the details,
but it was some sort of binary type [can't remember if it was some really-
rare video type or some actual [rare] binary data type] that IE insisted
on thinking it *COULD* open it [getting me a screenful of garbage], and
again, I was wondering if it were easy to tune this behavior. I was
*SURE* I would find something like the "MIME TYPES" set up for Agent. If
it really is hard/tricky in IE, so be it...
