Thanks Diane, I had heard stories in general.
I had one other problem ages ago on this (or another machine),
once, but it quickly resolved itself with no action on my part...
I found the following (printed) link, FWIW, and am going there now.
find.pcworld.com/53840
It seems to take you to a MS "help site" on the issues...
Instant Update: I have way too much security, so I could not
run the ActiveX controls on theWEB site to Validate. (Again,
to refreash the files it uses...) So I did a (D/L+run) the program
that does the same thing. Everything about that worked fine.
I recreated the log-off, log-on senerio, and THAT is fixed.
The OS DID phone home instantly in the Limited account...
Allow Once 9/19/2006 10:37:28 AM Outbound WGATRAY.EXE
TCP HTTP genuine.microsoft.com 1175 bytes 243 bytes 101
BUT, more annoyingly, (back in my User-Admin account), some security
setting was CHANGED since I do not get *my* "normal error" when
opening my e-mail program...
It is some type of scripting error that I normally get when my settings are
the way I wanted them...
So I am no more "happy" than I was before...

I think there is a KB addressing the limited user issue with genuine
advantage problems...
