Speaking as the resident devil's advocate hereabouts...
I have a "good one" for you... (Not a joke.)
I just switched an FPP Retail version of XP-Pro-SP2, (With WPA),
from "Classic" log-on to "Welcome Screen" log-on, added user switching,
AND added a Limited user for the first time.
(MS happened to snailmail me this OS themselves, so I ASS-U-ME
it is good. <grin>)
I logged off my "Username Admin type" account and logged in Limited...
I was instantly greeted that my Windows was not valid. (Bad key)
(Digital camera picture taken.)
When I logged off limited, the Welcome screen had a couple warnings
of the same thing. (I got a digital camera picture of that too.)
I then logged on as my Username Admin type.
My Windows somehow fixed itself, at least for "this user"...
"IT" seems to only happen in the Limited Account, and also just after
logging off it while not logged on to any account... It is repeatable...
This is really stupid...
Would we call that a computer with mutiple personalities or schizophrenic?
Seriously, how or where do I look (or go to complain) to fix this?
