I've worked with distribution 380V with pliers and screwdriver.
I was young and stupid. Wouldn't do it again.

On the battery, there's no valid reason to risk spending hard
earned cash to start replacing stuff. Turn off AND unplug AND
ground yourself. Do it by the numbers.
