Outlook also sends things like vbs viruses and other bad things without
your being aware of it. ;) Outlook is a bad offender for doing many
"embrased and extended" standard things without telling you. However,
HTML-encoded e-mail is pretty much the standard now. If there's an
option, great. We'll just have to live with it it. My e-mail client,
pine, seens to decode HTML decently (in fact, I wasn't aware that any of
the mail on this list was in HTML!). Time to update some of the older
Unix mail programs.
Can plain 7-bit ascii e-mail support languages other than english? Is
there an SMTP header to specify this? Just curious.
