database, but you'd rather use something else.  I believe the Access can
talk to normal SQL back-ends, so you could push the whole database into
SQL (MS SQL or on linux PostgreSQL or MySQL) and still have them use
Access as a client.  I don't know too much about Access, though.

It would be nice if Win4lin could display apps in their own windows on the
Linux desktop, instead of in a big window.  Then you could still run
Access from within the comfort of your customized linux desktop. ;)
