[Winona Online Democracy] In the highlands of Scotland, rural mail carriers drive small vans and offer public transportation along their routes. It would definitely be a slow trip to the next village, but if the ride gave you an opportunity to visit a friend or see your grandchildren or keep a doctor appointment, it would be worth the time.
