[Winona Online Democracy] While I may not always agree with School Board decisions, I do think they are grossly underpaid for the time and service they give to the community.
In my opinion, School Board salaries should at least be closer to the City Council range. I hope people realize how much time they give. Their marathon meetings are nothing compared to the phone calls, e-mails, personal visits, and other meetings they attend. They really do work hard at what they do. Ed or someone else, do you know what is the salary range for School Board members across the state?
