[Winona Online Democracy]

I really am not looking forward to an over/under pass, especially on
Huff St. Have you seen what these passes do to a neighborhood? It divides
them in half and separates them with a major concrete road.
There's one in LaCrosse that I have gone by several times and am so sad
to see what it has done to the neighborhood. We would probably lose at
least a block on one side to make it wide enough and it usually takes 4-6
blocks on either end. Look at all of the space needed for the one on Pelzer
St.
Do you really want this?--Ruth Charles
