So the solution is to subscribe to your favorite lists using a more universal web-based email address that you can access even from an internet hotspot. Create a yahoo or gmail account. Alternately, many ISPs offer a web-based squirrel mail server.
We do not have any problem with you subscribing to the list with more than one address. You can even manage it yourself so you can either temporarily shut off delivery to one of the addresses or have your messages sent as a daily digest. If anyone wants to subscribe with an additional address, please send me or Alberto a private email and be sure to include your name and callsign. We have been getting tons of spam sent to the listserver and also to our email accounts.
