Seems like an antenna problem or a wap11 problem. I have a 1km link with 
wap11 2.6 too and they have been working fine. Have you tried to link them 
while being together ? just in case, they may just got damaged (for any 
reason). 

Bridging does work fine on them. Both point-to-point and 
point-to-multipoint works. They say they will work only with other wap11. 
Btw, have your tried linking a wap11 with another brand name ?
