I don't really have any incentive to do that.
In the meantime, though, my network has a lot of things that can only be accessed through telnet or SSH, and I have to work with it. Maybe a network where everything has a built-in Web server would be easier to manage, but it would cost a lot of money I don't have (and even if I did, I'd not be in a big hurry to spend).

It would appear you are making incorrect assumptions. Why would it cost a lot of money? A programmer can be hired on the cheap and the amount of work you need is small. If it cost you more than a few hundred dollars you are over paying.
