I agree with you on computability, what good is a wifi network that doesn't talk to anything wifi? Doesn't sound too good to me.
The $200.00 cpe isn't as much the attraction as the $200.00 or less AP. That's hard to swallow adding $1k + per ap. I have 100's of ap's. I put them everywhere. It's the only reason I don't go proprietary is the affordable ap.
