It is correct that Apache should show up twice, once as root and once as _www -
that's just how it works. It sounds like it is working correctly.

Subject: Witango-Talk: Apache help

This is kinda embarrassing.

After years of using many different iterations of Tango/Witango on Macs using
WebStar I am now faced with running Apache. And I can't get it working!

I'm using an old MacMini (Intel) with 10.6. Apparently Apache is loaded by
default and all you have to do is turn on Web Sharing in Sharing Preferences.
No go.

I've had FileMaker Server with it's web sharing capabilities and Post.Office
with it's webmail interface running on this Mac previously. I've uninstalled
Post.Office and turned off FMPS. I've reinstalled OS X 10.6 and now the process
httpd appears in the Activity Monitor twice. Once under user root and again
under user _www.

Anyone want to point out the obvious thing I'm not getting?
