Ross Gardler commented on WOOKIE-253:
-------------------------------------

The problem with this patch is that it has a server side requirement that is
not supported by Wookie. The PHP script that creates a file to be saved on the
client. I'm not keen to add a dependency on PHP for a single feature of a
single widget.

I've discussed this with Steve (I work with him) and have suggested that either
we have client side code that will create a page for printing/saving or he adds
a feature that will allow Wookie to render a generic page for download (perhaps
by submitting an XML and XSL document). Given that the latter is quite a bit of
work I suspect the solution will be the former.

In the meantime I'll add this code to the scratchpad (after a full review).

> As recently discussed on the mailing list [1] I have built a new widget for
> to be considered for inclusion as an demo. I've tidied it up ready for
> distribution and think it is now ready for testing etc. The name Walkthrough
> is a quick fix and better suggestions are sought.
> The widget was developed by myself as OpenDirective for the University of
> Oxford. It was commission by the UK IPO http://ipo.gov.uk. The example Data
> set was created by Rowan Wilson of OSS Watch.
> I've attached it as a zip and look forward to comments.
