Well, it's an option now.  But for the record: I certainly do not 
recommend any software control (like that we're discussing) as a guard 
against unwanted behavior when "operating remotely".

For that, I would want something much more reliable in place.

Keep in mind that reducing power by using the *Pwr* slider has at least 
two undesirable side effects.

1. If your Tx audio includes any low level spurious signals (e.g., 
harmonics of the power-line frequency), they become stronger relative to 
your desired Tx audio) by the same amount that you have reduced the power.

2. The steps in what is necessarily a staircase waveform for your 
desired Tx audio also become larger, relative to the Tx audio amplitude.
