Hi Gary,

there is no "grabbing" of the sound card so long as you are using something
newer than Windows XP, you should be able to have as many applications as
you wish listening to the same sound card. There are some minor issues about
sample rate conversions if one application requests a different format from
another but it will still work.

As for CAT control, you only really need that on the instance that is going
to be transmitting.
