When using Omni-Rig, I believe WSJT-X Does not control the operation mode of the IC-7300 regardless of the "Split Operation" selection. As far as I can tell, WSJT-X assumes the user is responsible for selecting "USB-D" for both VFO-A and VFO-B.
Here is a scenario that demonstrated this: - Change the operation mode to "LSB" using the touch screen - Change the frequency a bit using the VFO knob - Start WSJT-X - Set "Split Operation" to "None" using File -> Settings... -> Radio - Select the current band in WSJT-X - Verify that the proper frequency is set - Notice that the mode remains "LSB" - Select the "CQ" Command - Click the "Enable Tx" - Notice that the mode remains "LSB" during the transmission - Click "Halt Tx" - Notice that the mode remains "LSB" after the transmission An Omni-Rig log file, created when Omni-Rig was working exclusively with WSJT-X, is available at https://gist.github.com/zstadler/960943fb17f2b9f74085819da79329ef 73, Zeev 4X5ZS
