Fellow operators,

For those of us who have or will have Essential Tremor we might be sliding the mouse too far to the left. (At least I don't have a serious tremor yet.) So how is moving the focus going to prevent accidents?

Also there could be someone operating /M (not driving) while acting as a rover in a QSO party and is being jerked around by a pothole and bumps the mouse. Or someone with serious vision problems.

Hi Mike and all,

As a retired software developer may I make a different suggestion. I would ask Uwe to update the interface so that at the beginning of the TX cycle the focus should switch to the "Enable TX" this would remove the possibility of inadvertent use of the mouse wheel or button that might create a problem for the rig or amplifier.

No -- it's only on band change -- not just a frequency change within band.

So jumping around on the waterfall in WSJT-X or Doppler tracking in gpredict still works...

Will this change make the existing (and long standing) "Allow Tx frequency changes while transmitting" option obsolete?
