Subject: [MonBikeClub] Get your CX on

So for some the season is still just starting,

For others they have been racing for a bit.
But regardless, there is still plenty of opportunity and time to get
your CX on and have a good time of it. Plenty of local races to be
had.

Tues, today-
Grass Track. You gotta be a little flexible, Betsy is having a
training day so she might be working late. If so then this whole
thing gets shifted.
Tentative schedule, meet at RT Amphi @ 6:05, we ride out RT, up the
Arb, over to Rugby fields where I set up the course and we go around
making many turns at speed. Intense efforts, then rest, repeat. Then
ride home in the growing darkness.
Bring a blinky for the rear and a little headlight for the front.

Wed, tomorrow-
CX practice as usual. I will be there at 5:30, I hope to have a
little write up that I'll post. I'll go over a few basics, then you
can practice those things, or just ride around in circles.
This will be a rudementary skills session. You needn't be a complete
n00b to get something out of it, but if you have bad habits and aren't
willing to help yourself break those habits then I won't bang my head
against the wall arguing w/ you.
More on the write up.

Thur, the next day-
Rail Trail CX session. Tentatively arriving at the area behind
MedExpress Sabraton at 6:05. Running at the mile markers, not going
hard the rest of the way up. Going down, a few starts, quick spin
efforts (I'll be on SS, you can slaughter me if you'd like, don't
matter none), tempo the rest of the time. A very pleasant ride. This
ride won't be hammer fest. Bring a blinky, and that little head lamp
for the ride home, probably won't need it on the rail trail.

Any bike is suitable for any of these sessions. Road, MTB, CX. SS or
geared.

There.
