Fyi, I'm using the OSM_tiled_mapnik and OSM_tiled_cycle options in the map chooser. The OSM maps are worldwide - not just for the UK or the US. But when I do a fresh install to another pc I cannot get OSM maps now - can > you and could you let me know how please? > I have a fresh installation from yesterday on a new laptop. It's compiled from source from CVS, which is the latest build. I gave my station coordinates temporarily in the UK, and I can see the G6GZH station and mine on the OSM map. (I disconnected from APRSIS before changing my coordinates so that I would not send a bogus location to the IS.) Are you using a version of Xastir that exists in a repository provided by a Linux distribution, or are you using a version that you compiled from source code? Either way, what version is shown under "help, about"? > > This is not about USA maps. > > This discussion has not been about USA maps. We were verifying which map options still work and which are obsolete and no longer work. The ones that work are OSM based, which are not limited to the USA.
