​I think the additional tile sets documented at the link below would work
with Xastir.  I understand APRSIS32 uses the same OSM mapnik maps by
default that are working now in Xastir.  There may be a few in the list
that are no longer working, but I'm not sure.  I wouldn't expect to
implement all/most of these - just pick a few that are considered the most
useful.  I like the mapquest street map as an alternative.
