Blue Hills Trail report...
1� to 2 inches of powder snow last night. Good to very good conditions
today with temperatures in the teens and skate-skiing on 2 inches of
fresh powder over a packed powder base. In most areas, the base is very
adequate and pole plants are solid; in some areas, the surface is a bit
uneven since it has been rolled, not scraped. Occasional rocks may
still be present -- rock skis may still be a good idea. Grooming of the
entire EastSideTrail & WestSideTrail was performed Thursday, December 7
using a snowmobile and trail roller. A striding lane will be set when
more snow arrives.
