Blue
Hills Trail report...
Brilliant sunshine and southerly breezes pushed temperatures into the upper
thirties today (February 6), but the base remained firm
and conditions remained fair
to very good
at midday
skating packed powder and hardpack. Sun-exposed areas became sticky
by late morning. Due to occasional areas
with thin base cover,
it is still wise to use your rock skis until you learn the trail sections
with the best snow cover. Grooming was last performed
Sunday, Feb. 3 when the entire trail system was
rolled again and the striding lane was extended to include the WestSideTrail.
