Blue Hills Trail update...
The entire trail system was groomed Friday, December 29, 2000, and the
skating lane was rolled today (Friday, January 5) in preparation for
Sunday's race. After today's grooming, skating was excellent skiing on
packed powder. Temperatures near thirty degrees F and blustery winds
this morning did not adversely affect trail conditions.

article: the Blue Hills Ascent Race is SUNDAY, not
Saturday as the article mentions:
