Blue Hills Trail update...
Mild temperatures and 1½-2 inches of rain
the past two days have melted snow and raised creeks. To access the
warming house, you'll need to leave your vehicle on Firelane road and
jump across the washed out road to the parking lot. Hard to believe,
but skiing is still available -- try waxless striding for base varying
from bare spots to ice patches to saturated corn snow with depths up
to 4 or more inches as of Thursday afternoon, April 11.
